June 12 – 29, 2008 || Some Men, Terrance McNally’s new play begins at a gay wedding. While the two men exchange wedding vows, guests at the ceremony chart their own loves, lives and the degrees of liberation they've achieved—or not—over the years. The play is a collage and a celebration, of the events that shaped the past century and chronicles gay life ‘through the ages.’ A moving and funny encyclopedia of relationships, it is composed of many separate pieces, a hallmark card for the gays! People won’t go off to sign petitions for gay marriage as a result of seeing it; however, the show may invite you to open up, as McNally says, "to sharing space on this planet with people who are different from them." It is about what it means to be a gay man, which takes in what it means to be gay and what it means to be a man. June 12, 13, 14, 20, 21, 27, 28 @ 8 p.m.; June 15, 19, 22, 25, 26, 29 @ 7 p.m.; June 22 & 28 @ 2 p.m.
